School Campaigns, nationwide

School children are a big influence on what their mothers/fathers/families purchase
The aim of a Schools Campaign is to reach this vast market on your behalf, with as exciting a campaign as possible, in order to create a larger market share for all products
Targeting districts, we are able to get to this growing market for specific campaigns
- Through such campaigns, a special kind of team spirit is developed between the children and their schools as a whole
- The children have the excitement of being involved in any competition run and the schools benefit from prizes being awarded to them on behalf of winning groups
- Prizes awarded are ideally aimed at benefiting the school/s who are in need of improvements of any kind
- These may include sponsorship of sports teams, maintenance of schools, improvements on various levels for classes and schools, and so on
Options for competition formats may include:
- Collecting barcodes from principal’s products to compete against other schools for the highest number collected during the campaign period
- Classes could come together to create their own image of the product range – giving ideas on new logos, slogans and overall images for the product, as seen through young eyes.
- The most creative or effective go into draws for prizes for their school Colouring-in competitions could be set up using client artwork for children to colour in using their imaginations. Again, the most creative could go into draws for prizes for their school
- Monitored during each month, the campaign would be run either per term (x3) or per year
- Detailed reporting would follow these visits to update on the success of the campaign as it progresses
- Awarding of the winning prizes would be done at the end of each term and at the winning school/s
- Prizes for 1st – 10th places are recommended and could include:
- Sponsorship of sport teams clothing – using different coloured strips, more than one school can win this prize.
- School improvements such as paint to help the school funds on their side and build sponsor’s brands
- Other valued items such as lap desks which are branded, regular desks, chairs, stationary and so on
- Reporting overall on the campaign’s success would be done in detail by Expo Botswana term by term
- Additional and related in-store events can be put together to run alongside the schools in selected areas. These would be aimed at increasing the overall branding exercise and to increase sales through these outlets
